I dare not look...
...at the date of my last entry. I suggest that you don't either. It will likely frighten you.
A RECAP (of the last semester or so)- School went well, Three As and Two Bs. I enjoyed myself, overall. Christmas was sweet, if busy. I got many piles of gifts, with my "boob shirt," boots, flannel bedsheets, fairy scarf, fuzzy red scarf, and my jacket (that didn't fit) coming in as top items. The jacket because I get its value in spending money, which will lead to awesome things being bought. mmm, shoes, most likely. New Year's Eve was fun, I had a bunch of people over for a dinner party.
Classes this semester are going well, I'm taking Intro to Old Testament, Canadian Lit, Shakespeare's Comedies, Linear Algebra, and Intro to Critical Theory. I like all my profs, and my workload appears to be manageable.
Love life is still on the side burner, I'm not overly concerned.
My cosplay attempts are going quite well - I did a costume of Faris, from Murder Princess for anime last week, which was very fun. As a side effect, my hair is now purple...well, more burgundy now, but either way, it's a fun color. Current cosplay plans include Yuffie from FFVII Dirge of Cerberus, Tabatha from Zero no Tsukaima (or Henrietta, I'm currently undecided and not sure that I'll have time for either), possibly a Card Captor Sakura costume, I'm thinking the one for the Silent Card (teal with navy diamonds, a small set of bat wings), and I'm hoping to do a Sailor Saturn costume too, to match up with Mae's Jupiter costume. (Mae, we should put Chris in a tux and a cape. XD)
Sadly, my reading life has died, beyond schoolwork. Current Reading plans for the summer include The Virtu, and as much Charles de Lint, Patricia McKillip, and anything else I can get my hands on. I miss awesome books.
And some things are rather uncool at the moment. Topping the list, Pata is going to England in 16 days. I'll miss his hugs. A lot. :( And I'm not looking forward to Mom and Nan having only me to focus their attention on. >.< It's now official, MUN is going to be seeing a lot more of me, as I hide from too much parental attention.
Oh, and I'm now legal~ To frighten all of you, I have not had a drink since my birthday in October. Booze tastes nasty, even if I am allowed to drink it.
