(no subject)
Looong week at work. Our main lab analyzer computer crashed on Wednesday and it took the IT guy and our boss all night to fix it. I came in Thursday morning to find out he was there till 1:30 am. I was all O.o... The machine is still glitchy in that we have to reprigram some of the analyzer functions and tweak the settings on the programs we run. The data we've been getting off of it looks really crappy and unsorted and it's a pain in the ass to deal with. Whew.
Tonight was good. My lil bro Matt is playing at the Georgian Inn again tonight and Mom and I had dinner there. OMG the food was delicious. It's an actual fine dining place and even though we only had appetizers cause everything else was expensive, it was so worth it. Such tasty, tasty food. We had salads with arugula, spiced pecans, dried blueberries, some crumbly cheese and yummy dressing. I also had fried oysters and I thought I was going to die of happy mouth. So good and seasoned well with a creamy dipping sauce that had capers and stuff in it. Crispy fried outside and soft melty oyster inside. Mom had a crab cake that was also super tasty and I tried a bite. Then we had creme brulee for dessert that we split. Crunchy creamy goodness. Aaaahh... food heaven.
Now I'm basking and glad that it's the weekend. I need to hit up JoAnne Fabrics tomorrow for a project and maybe some other shopping. Hopefully a movie. There's a lot of good ones playing right now and the weather is decent enough that I can make it to the theater.
My brother tells me that Wicked is going to be playing in Pittsburgh next autumn. We're totally scoring tickets when it's out. We'll see how it compares to going to Phantom a few months ago. It was amazing.
