(no subject)
Yesterday I went shopping with my sister at the waterfront. But we had some excitement before we even left.
Last night she thought she hit a bird on the highway... and when we went out to her car yesterday... there was a dead squirrel in her grill. Which we felt bad about. I got a stick from the woods and poked at the guts to get it off her car. She said it was weird because the thing looked like it was flying across the highway. It was a flying squirrel when we looked at it. We didn't even know that there were flying squirrels in the area. And we felt even sadder because it was cute despite being dead and a little squished.
So, we used the stick to get it off the car and carried it between a couple sticks to toss it in the woods. :(
Anyway, we went to the waterfront and shopped at Old Navy and American Outfitters and a few other stores for Christmas presents. I'm done shopping for three people now and have some things for a few others. We had lunch at a Dave and Busters. It was yummy bar food. Looked around the arcade a bit and left. Got some Starbucks before we came back to my apartment. Pumpkin Spice. Mmmmm.....
It was really nice to see her because we don't spend much time together anymore. It was fun.
I spent most of today making Pumpkin Pasties. I had to make two batches of dough to use all the filling I made. There's about four dozen of them. And there's still a ton of pumpkin in the fridge. And one more raw one to cook down.
Not much else. Nothing on the job front yet. Bleh.
