(no subject)
I went for a walk for an hour this afternoon up by the water tower. It's on a little gravel road next to my apartment. Got to the top of the hill to find the soon-to-be-Stepford-land. The top of the hill was flattened and covered in new cul-de-sac roads and there were a couple model townhouses and some cement bases for more. The rest of the area was a dry wasteland of cracked mud and dead grass. I peeked in the model homes and pretty much tromped around the area. I followed a flock of turkeys for a bit and a chipmunk came a couple feet from me when I stood very still. Then the two guys on dirt-bikes came roaring by and it scampered off. Cute thing.
