At work. On lunch... kinda tired. Hmmmm
I finished American Gods a few days ago. Really interesting. Really good. It's all about how people's belief in something manifest in the physical world and that's how the gods are created. Immigrants to the Americas brought some of these gods with them. Or, at least, an offshoot manifestation of them. There's a kinda-sequal to it called Anansi Boys. I'll have to pick it up at Border's sometime.
I started reading the third Vampire Hunter D novel yesterday. It's the one that the Bloodlust movie is based on. The books are even better. The descriptions are so vivid and there's a lot more detail on the technology in the world.
I was linked to failblog last night and spent a good couple hours browsing it. XD I kept breaking out into laughter at some of the images.
Ooohh!! And I started up watching Beck again. I stopped about halfway through the series a few months ago. I think I was distracted by arker Than Black and Fate/Stay Night at the time. I'm on episode 19 now, I think. so I should finish it in a few more days and move on to Trinity Blood. Which is also sitting on my desktop. After that... I'll probably start Air Gear. Or rewatch Ouran Host Club.
I'm going to buy my Dragoncon ticket tonight! And I need to arrange with Tan what times are good for her to pick me up from the airport so I can book the flights. Priceline has round trips to Atlanta at about $240 for a weekday.
And I'll need to ask Aaron and Ari if they can drop me off and pick me up at the airport those days.
