Wow.... just.. wow. This has been a crazy fun weekend.
Thursday we... umm... we did something. I think. Mostly we just hung out around the apartment.
Friday Philip flew in and we went to the Pittsburgh Zoo!!!! Only 15 minutes from my apartment. I had no idea it was that close. It was fun. We weren't there long, but I got a ton of pics. We all went to the Shogun Hibachi restaurant for dinner. A little pricey, but it was delicious and out hibachi chef was amazingly talented. Probably the best one there. He flipped stuff into his hat and made an onion volcano and had this beat-boxing rhythm going on with the cooking utensils. The place had excellent sushi as well. The chef tossed shrimp into Sayu's mouth. It was adorable. She was so happy.
Saturday we beat each other up with sticks in the yard. I was vicious and surprised myself. Aaron and Ari took turns going after Philip... and Claire, Kiko, and I went at it. We got an audience of some of the more annoying apt complex people who were crude and sometimes offensive. Lonely, divorced men can be such perverted asshats.
We watched the second Deathnote movie too. Subbed, so sexy voices, but the plot deviates pretty far from the series. Still good though.
Philip cooked us dinner! Major brownie points. The pasta sauce and chicken were delicious. Claire made crunchy-soft garlic bread. Mmmmm.. good week for food.
Sunday I drove to visit my parents and went to the Memorial Day family picnic/reunion at my great-aunt's place. There were only thirty or so people there... almost half the usual number. We still had our family croquet tournament, but we only had two rounds this year. Not enough players. Croquet is seriously my family's sport. It's a lot of fun.
I was there most of the day. From 2 to about 9. Free lunch and dinner! I saw my cousins and relatives that I don't hear about very often. The ones from Alaska and Delaware didn't make it. Damn gas prices. $3.95 a gallon today. Major fail.
Today... umm.. I got some sleep while everyone else took Philip to the airport. And we just hung out talking most of the day. Mostly about the Twilight series. I love it so much! *hugs all the characters, but especially Jasper and Jacob*

We went to JoAnne's and I bought some patterns for Renaissance garb for Pennsic Wars next summer. I started a vest today. Aaron. Ari, Kiko, Claire, and I had dinner at the Golden Corral. Filled us up as it was our only meal of the day. It was typical cheap family buffet style food. I did get some tasty ribs though.
Now we're chilling at the apartment again. We watched the &%$#ing Ben Affleck and Matt Damon videos. And this:
It's the first of ten short episodes. I was amused. XD
Going now! Enough time on the computer today.
Tomorrow night.... is the resumption of the RPs I've been ignoring for the past week. Ehheh... I feel like I'm going to have a lot to catch up on. ^^;;;;
