(no subject)
I'm typing an entry solely because I'm done with my work for the day and it's only 4:15... got chiropractor after this, then... umm... dinner and RPing. Probably.
Haven't gone to see Horton Hears a Who yet, but I hope to sometime this week. My sister Melissa turns 24 on Sunday. I'm going to a birthday thing for her at my parents place. Hmmmm.. maybe I should take my lil bro to the movie. He'd like that.
Got my taxes done. I owe the government $500... $200 is to federal because my part-time job last year didn't take enough out of my pay for it. The other $300 is local.. I think because I live in a different county than I work, so work doesn't take it out of my pay automatically. So yeah.... sucks. D< I do get $600 in May from the stimulus package thing... so I guess I'll break even.... so much for spending it like we're supposed to. I wanted a DS.
Also found out that my sister Yas is pregnant... this is not a happy thing. She's 20 and living with friends somewhere in Maryland and has no job or cell phone and dropped out of college last year... I'm worried about her. My only contact with her is through facebook. Mou.
Reiko came to visit last week! It was late though, so we only talked for a few hours before I went to bed and he talked with Aaron and Ari some more. We had dinner at the Smokey Bones... delicious ribs. XD
Ummm... I somehow feel lately like there's so much to do... but not. I guess it's the bombardment of information and the media and entertainment and all that crap. Discovered the existence of Hulu.com .... which makes me feel the need to catch up on a million old tv shows that I never watched in the first place.
And I swear that my flist is way to bogged down with community posts that are often stupid and I don't have the time to look at them anyway. The few good authors I follow are friended and the stuff posted lately does not inspire me to adding anymore. KHR is exploding as a fandom and I should probably stop watching those communities if I want to stay sane. Too much crap posted, and I've only read what's been officially released so far... which is the first 7ish volumes. So I'm behind anyway. I did catch up on Bleach last week. I was two months behind.
Hmmm.. maybe it's just too many fandoms vying for my attention. I should cut it down, but I always get that nagging feeling that something really important is going to happen soon that I'll miss in one of them. Speaking of which, the epic Naruto battle right now... is it boring anyone else yet? It's been going on for 20 chapters or so. Just die already... you've shown what a nut job you are.
