"Gettin' back to mah roots, foo'."

The essay that everyone was flipping out about because they only had two days to do it? The 3-5 page one (double-spaced)? That is nothing. I got it done in an hour. Pffft.

Saw that new dancing movie with Antonio Banderaz in it on Thursday, with Collen and ma. The ballroom/hiphop one? Yeah. Not half bad, actually; the three-person tango in the competition section of it kicked SO much ass. <3 And then we went grocery shopping, to pick up two or three things that were on the list... ...and then we came out with a carriage and a half of groceries. Who called it? ME.

...That extra half-carriage might have something to do with me convincing my mom to buy as many cartons of the Ben & Jerry's ice cream as she could (it was a 5 for $10 sale! Come on! That NEVER happens). ...It was all Colleen's idea. Really.

In other news, Colleen and I tagged along with my ma to the college Friday, to just hang around and get the tour and stuff. Salem State has a nice campus, and their library rocks. So much. Four floors. *hugs* It's even better when your Great-Aunt lives there and promises to drop off a stackload of books that you wanted at your house. Although living in the dorms seems pretty darn tempting, now. >.> Too bad all the parking sucks down there.

Was dropped off at my dad's after that, and we headed down to the Willows for a while. Tetris is addicting. x.x I think I wasted, like, five dollars on that game, and at a quarter per game... >.> Yeeeaaaahhh. Other than that, Buta the guinea pig died; Betty's still torn up about that. But, I mean, the pig was at least five years old (which is what the vet managed to figure out from the autopsy), so that was why her organs and stuff were just dying and stuff.

Spent all day Saturday watching Yo Momma on MTV, doing my history essay, studying the SAT book my mom got me and Colleen, and then writing for a bit before watching Cursed.

OH, and in other news, DSS approved us my ma and Kevin as Colleen's foster parents! Go us! Now we just need to go get the rest of Colleen's stuff out of her old house.
