(no subject)
One more day of classes. OMGOMGOMGNOWAI. Tomorrow's the day I'm in class until 9 pm, but I'll live. Provided I can fight off everyone else while signing up for final review dates tomorrow. <3
I haven't updated in forever, I know. >>
Ashley was awesome and brought my out shopping on friday, since the potluck Thanksgiving party was that night. Stopped by BJs to grab some cheap food, and then dropped nearly $80 at Art Supply Wholesale (which is absolutely ridiculous, but not really because the gel medium/gloss I had to get for my finals is pretty pricey. D:).
There was so much damn food at the potluck, though. Listing it all would be ridiculous, to tell the truth; we had to get doubles of some entrees because of the vegan people in the house (which is what always happens at parties for people from our school, but whatev). Kalimah makes THE best sweet potatoes, though. <3 But, here, have a picture:
Kaitlin's in the living room, and me and Ophelia are in the kitchen still cooking in that picture, so that's why we're missing. Who the hell knows what expression Kyle or Berger were going for. XD
BUT. Best part of the evening (aside from the massive cheesecake I picked up for $11), was the decorating job Erica had done on the cake:
Yes, it does say "have a fagtastic Thanksgiving". They had to sit there and tell the decorator about ten times before he would actually write it.
BUT. Ate food, watched Wall-E, chilled with Sarah and Kaitlin because one of the guests brought their baby -- which makes absolutely zero sense to bring a baby to a college party, even if no one in that group drinks on campus -- and we didn't feel like bothering the crap out of the little bugger, then got tea at Michelle's.
Saturday was Thanksgiving sushi night with Michealla, Kathy, Colleen, Nicki, and Corinne (Nicole would have come, except she's dirt poor). which is probably for the best because wtf Corinne bought $30+ worth of sushi Then saw The Bald Soprano at the school and chilled at Abbot while watching the Hulk.
Sunday was the day I told myself to do homework and instead read comics all day. Yeah. I did toss my paper together though, yay?
So. That leads me to trying to figure out what I'm doing for parents' houses during the break. Mom's picking me up wednesday, and then thursday is dinner at Gram's followed by dinner at dad's, and then friday morning I'm volunteering at Food Not Bombs, and then saturday afternoon is the cosmetic party at Corinne's friends' house, and sometime in there I want to see either Bolt or Twilight (for lulz. With Nicole and Colleen. Laughing my ass off in the theater and getting dirty looks from sex reality-starved Edward fangirls).
Homework to do:
- Finish up the 8"x8" portraits I have and start more
- Start working on Life Drawing final pieces
- Research paper on Robotics for science
- Study for Art History Since 1945 final
Things to bring home:
- sketchbook.
- laundry.
- computer?
- book to read.
- stuff for dad's.
- shovel to dig myself a grave once the week is over.
