parental units are awesome
so, grandpa gave my mom $200 dollars for us to go out and get a TV. I shit you not. So now I have a very nice 27" flatscreeen, a cheap-o DVD player, and an even cheaper walmart-quality plastic stand to hold it all up. The school provides cable, and I has movies.
And ohgod tomorrow night, Monty Python marathon. Our place. YES.
Also snagged Jim Henson's "Labyrinth" for eight bucks, because I love that movie to bits. <3
Kevin and my mom also had a nice long talk and he's getting his act together, finally. He's realized that he's been frustrated, and will even go to an outside source to get help, if need be. He's even cooking and joking around and having decent conversations again. It's just... a huge relief. I totally want to talk him into riding me over to the orchard on his bike. Or Nicole, to make room in the car.
Uncle Bob and Aunt Bonnie got their new English Bulldog pup, Winston. asjdnaosubdsad SO CUTE. x.x I want to steal him. Dad already called dibs on babysitting him whenever they go away, though. >.
