Happy birthday to certain peeps - sorry it's belated >>;;
Yesterday was technically my last day, and I really should've cleaned all the crap out of my locker earlier than I did. Kathy's dad picked us up, and we wandered around downtown for a bit; picked up a copy of the manga Mugen Spiral - it's only supposed to be two books long, so I don't mind. The series also seems a bit more like InuYasha, first glance, but I actually like it a lot better. Probably because the heroine isn't annoying, and it doesn't last forever and ever and ever... it's nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
In any case, have to take the bus in tomorrow for the rehearsal graduation and stuff. This ought to be amusing, seeing as our school is infamous for never being able to stand in a circle. Ellipses, triangles, stars, hell even the Star Trek emblem... but never an actual circle. Moving about 100 of these students into a straight, single-file line will be a miracle. I should probably train my team in Diamond another 5-10 levels to take out Kathy, too, since I can outmaneuver and strategize far better than her, but she's so high up in levels that she absolutely crushes me with her stats.
I've recently switched over from using Youtube to using veoh.com, since youtube has been deleting a lot of the subbed anime videos on there. Also, practically no loading time on veoh. Yay. >>;;
And Airgear is ridiculously amusing for me. Yeah, the kids don't act like they're only 2nd-year middle-schoolers, the main character is always there just in time for a gust of wind to blow up his homeroom teacher's skirt and has the uncanny ability to memorize any map and trick he sees, and of course there's that one guy who looks like he's 30-something when he's really 12/13, and Simka seems to be the mascot whore of the city, but that's shonen manga for you. And Kazu is adorable, with his little beanie-cap and hoodie~ And Agito/Akito wins, because it takes skill to slap a pair of motorized rollerblades on when you're wearing a strapped-up straight jacket, and because he's completely nuts. Pity that Inuyama was one of those one-shot type rivals, though, because he was such a dork and the dub made him sound like Elvis. >>;
...and I should probably not be driving myself insane looking for more music by skankfunk, shhhh~
