Things to do this weekend~
Right, well, I officially dub this weekend the "Beat In The Face With The Almighty Bat of Agriculture!" weekend. Or the AGRICULTURAL SMACKDOWN. Haven't officially decided, yet. :DDD
Going to Topsfield Fair as soon as mom gets home, and we're picking up Corinne, Stephanie, and Amanda from there. Nevermind we'll need to stuff at least two people into the jeep's trunk because the second jeep isn't working.
1) No forgetting FFA card this year, because the card gets me in for free and I am too poor to get in, otherwise. :D;;
2) Nag ma into getting more honey from the beekeeper peoples (who are kinda ...odd) because we're almost out of it at home. ...and what's left is starting to crystallize
3) Find the fried pickle stand. It is for the good of humanity. No one will stand in my way.
4) Check out Veg barn, because this year's winner beat the world record, apparently, for the largest pumpkin (and last year kids did an ode to Star Wars through the creative use of squash).
5) Don't forget sketchbook, because there's really no better place to sketch out birds of prey when they're sitting on a stand two feet away from you. ...And I need to work on crowd scenes. >.>;;
6) Do not gorge self on the awesomeness in a flaky crust that is Mama Rosie's spinach pie.
7) Watch cowboys get mauled pwn at bull riding.
8) ...Don't blow money on repeated tries to win carnival games.
9) Bludgeon dunk-a-clown-booth clown if he calls me and Corinne the "Dateless Duo" again.
10) Resist urge to poke fun at the people who hang out at the "Call Jesus!" booth.
Tomorrow we're going apple-picking, and then perhaps shrubbery- and leaf-burning on Sunday. Monday is devoted to getting those essays/open responses done for history, because with my attention span I should be able to get a paragraph written in between bouts of... doing other stuff.
