Bright Side
Ok the reason why he picked to stay as my friend is because he's thinking ahead.
It's senior year and there are only 3 months left of school.
He's not sure if he's going out of state for college or if he's staying local.
So he's questioning, why put yourself in a relationship if in the end there's a possibility that you have no choice but to end it when you don't want to?
Another thing is that he's focused on his sport which can help him get scholarships.
I honestly don't want to be a burden to him so I understand.
So the bright side to this is that he still likes me, but is not sure if it's worth starting a relationship when in 3 months you might have to end it.
