1) I've known you since high school. You're part of the crew that started me on anime and RPGs. Of course I had to friend you back. ^_^
2) The first thing that comes to mind is.. Macross. As I recall you were trying to convert anyone who would listen into being a fan of the series. Alas that I never got farther into it.
3) You always seem to be having fun no matter what you're doing. Unless you're irritated, almost everything can be laughed at. It made English and Latin a lot more interesting.
4) Where to begin... The debate in English about the prompt dealing with US intervention in other countries' wars that escalated into something theatrical enough that other people wanted to just watch us pretend to argue? The day in our junior year that we both missed Latin and spent the time IMing each other? Stamping books for Mrs. Ollman on the day of the English final that we didn't have to take?
5) When and where and for what purpose was Tolarin created?
6)the current "whatever" one. it fits somehow... more so than your others.
4. Oh gosh! I'm glad your memory is better then mine! The stamping books was fun... and that day we missed Latin was great! I remembered I was so suprised to see ya online... *laughs* You know, I really regret not hanging out with you as much post high school! *laughs* That's honestly too bad!
Tolarin is a blend of things, as typical for me. His roots go back to an old RP character on TSR's (Note, TSR... not Wizards of the Coast... we're talking 96-97) message board and a character known as The Battlemaster (I'm twelve... you'll have to forgive my silly youth.) After a year or so of playing him and developing a D&D 1st Ed elf... the ideas kind of merged together. The name itself was inspired by Wing Commander. Admiral Tolwyn and Col. Christopher Blair. And Blair (And Max Sterling) had blue hair... so, an elf magic swordsman with blue hair. Tolarin.
Skylar was thrown in when the idea of focusing on wind became an idea I was throwing around.
Most of Tolarin's goofier personality was developed between our RPs and Robotech Conqueror. (In which he is a young Zentraedi engineer.) A great deal of Tolarin's personality owes itself to both Conqueror and RPing with you guys. (Esp. as he evolved from a one-dimensional self-insertion to an actual character with depth and such.)
I've been experimenting with writing new characters and stories.. but I still have a place for Tolarin and a good deal of the gang. If I could ever think up some sort of consistant and good way to depict em... I would. *laughs* But I'm such a... gosh... I don't even know the word for my problem with finishing a story... I just want it to seem right... and I haven't hit that right yet.
6. I love that avatar! So perfect! Kyo Kusanagi's gotta be one of my favorite fictional characters... In his offical bio, his Dislike: is effort. *laughs* Makes me chuckle.

add this to the memory list... dragging you to ren fest with rory and my parents...
It seemed like he'd been around for a while when I first entered the group RPG. Guess he has been.

I'll be back in Austin hopefully in June for my brother's wedding... and when I do that, I'll be around for two to three weeks.
Tolarin's been around for a long-time... of course, he's always a character in development to me. I haven't nailed down his story... yet. *laughs*
