Day Ten
Once again backdated. I'm totally behind. I managed to write a little bit today. Brought my word count totals up to 18,349. I should be up to twenty thousand by now, but I stalled out again. Since then I have been brainstorming intensely, however. I think now I have a solid plot and motivating factors to get into that plot. The idea, outlined in my head, is solid. Considering I wrote over five thousand words on day one, I'm fairly sure I can catch up to speed again one of these days. Maybe tomorrow. After midnight. I do have focus, I just need to sit down and write. Actually do it.
No role-play for me tonight. Though I did sign on just to chit-chat with people, I don't really intend on doing any playing. It's too late for that anyway. I thought about it, realized it was getting too late, and then realized that I don't actually have the energy for it.
Some things of note. I decided I didn't like the name of the antagonist in the story. So in future snippets, if anyone reads them, you'll notice that the name has changed. Robert Gray has changed to Gideon Langston. There's something more ominous about that name, and the meaning of the name Gideon, wow. Hehehe. Things are just going to get more perverse, morbid, and possibly creepy from here on out. As I've told people before, my mind is a scary place.
But... I haven't reached a breaking point for part three yet. Once I do get there, rest assured I'll be posting it. Until then...
