Continuing the KKL-themed translation from:
http://johnnys-net.net/Forum/T.asp?bID=3&ID=6853 These are the rumours. Best taken with a big pinch of salt and sense of humour. =D
Some very vague ones have been skipped. =P Also, a lot of these came up during the period KinKi insisted that they did not meet up privately, so they brought up seemingly small things whose point was simply to counter that statement.
Notes:
- I didn't verify the authenticity of any of these. The text I translated from also never vouched for its truthfulness.

In 1995 KinKi went to Hawaii for 'Get The KinKi' photoshoots. After the work was completed, the two of them went to New York on their own vacation for 7--10 days. No one else went along with them. KinKi talked about this New York visit in Donnamonya. They apparently bought a Barbie doll there.
#6-32
KinKi were spotted at a mall carpark about to go home after shopping.
#6-33
Kouichi was seen taking a long-haired daschund [referring to Kenshirou] out for walks.
#6-34
On radio, Tsuyoshi said he wanted to buy a bigger TV set to play games on. Kouichi's instant reply: "Your TV is very big already, you still want a new one?"
* I suppose the point was to counter what they said about never visiting each other's houses.
#6-35 | #10-3
The Case of the Equidistant Love Nest: Rumors said that the two of them had bought a small house located at the middle of their houses, about the same distance from Tsuyoshi's as it was from Kouichi's. Allegedly it had been disclosed in the past, and some fans had seen it.
#6-36
The Case of the Hapless Staff: Reportedly, the staff around KinKi were all aware of their love-love antics. Once, a new staff went to call them for standby. As he opened the door to the dressing room, he saw Tsuyoshi pressing on top of Kouichi, doing nobody-knew-what. He quickly got out and closed the door.
#6-38
Donnamonya: a fans mentioned a rumor she heard that KinKi went for a drink, got drunk, then kissed each other on the mouth right then and there.
* Why isn't there any mention about their reactions, lol.
#7-39
Donnamonya: Tsuyoshi, hosting alone, said that Kouichi only needed to place a phonecall saying, "Tsuyoshi, I want to eat red bean bread," to get it delivered. Tsuyoshi complained, "WTH did I so obediently do the delivery."
#7-40
Whenever KinKi went overseas, if staff asked Kouichi whether he wanted to eat out or to go somewhere, Kouichi would tell them to ask Tsuyoshi. If Tsuyoshi didn't plan to go out, Kouichi would say, "I'll just stay at the hotel today, not going out."
* This (or some variation of this) should be true because they talked about it on DK.
#7-41
When Kouichi guested on Kishidan's radio show to promote his new single, he kept talking about Tsuyoshi having a 15-sec kiss scene on his latest drama and how long that was.
#7-42
Kouichi was wearing a Kindaichi jacket at Ginrou's shooting location. It was known that Tsuyoshi did visit the location, and even made a guest appearance in the series footage.
* I remembered this appeared on my f-list once, and yes, jandeth has
the evidential picture! <3
* Edit:
Case explained #7-43 | #94
For an episode of Pikaichi, Kouichi had to take the ship license test. There was a typhoon on that day. A worried Tsuyoshi dropped by with Kenshirou. Staff asked him to join in the filming, but Tsuyoshi turned down the offer and said that he was only passing by while taking Kenshirou for a walk. (Taking a walk in the typhoon?) This story was reported in Wink Up 2001.
#7-44
On Johnny's Power, Kouichi said his house was under renovation, and he couldn't carry on sleeping because of the noise. Tsuyoshi, who was at his side, walked away with a smile. (Didn't Kouichi live alone? If he was sleeping, who opened the door for the workers? How suspicious!)
#7-45
On the episode of Pop Jam with Fujii Fumiya as the guest, Tsuyoshi was also on location. KinKi then left together in a car.
#7-47
Tsuyoshi often went to Daikanyama, sometimes buying clothes for Kouichi.
#7-48
Kouichi was seen going shopping with Kenshirou in his arms.
#7-49
Someone saw KinKi in a shop, with Kouichi carrying the basket and Tsuyoshi picking up things to buy. (A shopping couple...)
#7-50
KinKi was seen fooling around in a mall carpark. Kouichi's car was parked beside them, and Kenshirou was inside the car. (These two :||||)
#7-52
A guy who joined the PV filming for KinKi's 'Suki ni Natteku Aishiteku' single wanted to chat with KinKi while on the road, but Kouichi and Tsuyoshi kept talking among themselves in such good mood, that he couldn't get a word in between.
#7-53
After KinKi's concert in Taiwan, a few Japanese fans were in the same flight [back to Japan?] as KinKi. A fans greeted them, and Tsuyoshi smiled and responded kindly. Another said to Kouichi, "Please work hard in the concert." Kouichi replied "Yes" in a small voice. A fans sitting at the same row as KinKi saw that Kouichi had beer while Tsuyoshi had ice cream. Tsuyoshi said to Kouichi, "I want to have a sip," then drank Kouichi's beer. Kouichi later drank from the same glass.
#7-58
After MS filming on 18 May [2001?] Tsuyoshi followed Kouichi home. Not long afterwards Kouichi was seen at the convenience store for 15 minutes before returning home. It was only the next morning that they were seen leaving the house for a magazine photoshoot. (What did they do over the night?)
#7-59
There was a time Tsuyoshi contemplated quitting the jimusho, and went home to Nara. Kouichi and Nagase went to Tsuyoshi's home to persuade him to return. Kouichi said to Tsuyoshi's mother, "Please leave Tsuyoshi in my care." In another version of this rumour, it was Tsuyoshi's mother who went to the jimusho to take him home.
#7-60
Their houses were actually less than 10 minutes apart. Kouichi often walked Tsuyoshi home.
#7-61
Kouichi once bought Tsuyoshi a BMW racing car as a birthday present.
#7-62
During the 2001 Taiwan concert, Kouichi asked staff to buy all the snacks they could find outside, because Tsuyoshi wanted to try out the food.
#7-63
The Case of the Hapless Staff II: This one is another rumor about a new, uninformed staff who got a shock from opening the door to KinKi's dressing room, but this time it was Kouichi on top, straddling Tsuyoshi with his head nuzzling Tsuyoshi's neck.
#7-65
This happened during Love Love Aishiteru trip to either Okinawa or Hawaii. Off-camera, Tsuyoshi for unknown reason got upset and left the group to return to the hotel on his own. After a while Kouichi went after him, and they ended up kissing in front of the hotel room door (heart). (Or should we say, Tsuyoshi got kissed by Kouichi, lol.) Kouichi said, "Don't cause any more trouble, let's go back." Tsuyoshi was fine after that. (It must be hard to stay stubborn after this kind of persuasion from the partner, right?)
#8-66
Kouichi once said to Tsuyoshi: "You should be a woman in your next life and marry me." Tsuyoshi asked why he should be the wife. Kouichi replied that it was because Tsuyoshi could do laundry. (*sweatdrops* such a WTH reasoning)
#8-68
Takizawa Hideaki mentioned how he heard moans from KinKi's dressing room (LOL). Later on, a fans sent a postcard to either Donnamonya or Kinkira to clarify this. KinKi said they had been playing videogames, so the sound must have come from there. (But KinKi once mentioned that the games they played were the likes of soccer or war games; surely Takizawa's hearing wouldn't be so bad as to mistake these sounds?)
#8-69
During F Con, Tsuyoshi's hyperventilation acted up, so Kouichi took over the MC job that he normally didn't like. The following day, Tsuyoshi's condition improved, but everyone noticed that Kouichi in turn seemed very tired. (It must have been tiring to take care of that cute little one.)
#8-70
F Con MC: KinKi mentioned how they would send SMS-es to each other even though they were face to face. Afterwards, Tsuyoshi said, "Please send me an SMS at 5am." (5am, sending SMS, facing each other, what are you doing?)
#9-71
On a Japanese gay publication: someone spotted Kouichi in his car at the red lights, looking intimate with a very good looking girl at the front passenger seat. Later on he realized that 'girl' was actually Tsuyoshi. (0_o)
#9-1
Paparazzi vs Jimusho, Round 1: There was a rumour that the two of them had been caught in a 'prohibited' photograph, that was later shushed down by the jimusho. It was Kouichi and Tsuyoshi in a park embracing and kissing. (No smoke without a fire?)
#9-2
During the time Tsuyoshi was holding his solo concert, a fan tried to 'catch' him. S/he waited for a long time, but only saw an 'old man' wearing all black and a fisherman's hat coming out of the place.
#10-4 | #12-26
[Cocorico's] Tanaka [Naoki] mentioned a phonecall to Tsuyoshi, during which Tsuyoshi said to him, "Shh, Kouichi is sleeping beside me." Another version said that he went to Tsuyoshi's place and Tsuyoshi told him that Kouichi was sleeping inside the house. He told the story on a radio show.
#10-5
A journalist photographed KinKi going out together, hand in hand. It was after this incident that the homo rumours started, and they started to turn their words around, saying they hadn't been to each other's houses, rarely phoned each other, etc.
#10-6
KinKi went to a convenience store. Tsuyoshi was undecided over which ice cream to buy. Kouichi told him to buy all [in terms of types, I hope]. They were then seen bringing home a lot of ice cream.
#10-7
When 19 came on Pop Jam, one of the members said that he once happened to be in the vicinity of Tsuyoshi's house, so he called Tsuyoshi up. At that time, Tsuyoshi told him he was cleaning his room because Kouichi was coming to visit. Kouichi didn't deny that story on the show.
#10-8
A Japanese fan tried to chat with Tsuyoshi after a recording session, but Kouichi kept sticking to Tsuyoshi's side possessively. (Primary kid behaviour!) He was shooting looks that said 'Tsuyoshi is mine... Only I can stick close to him'.
#10-10 | #111
Nagase said on radio that he saw two toothbrushes at Kouichi's home. When he asked Kouichi about it, somehow Kouichi just started talking about how Tsuyo's teeth weren't so good so he needed to watch over Tsuyo's brushing teeth routine, etc etc. [On a separate occasion,] Kouichi complained how Nagase couldn't keep a secret.
#11-13
DK used to have the "Doumoto XX Arena" segment where Tsuyoshi usually had a food challenge. From there, KinKi had been sharing the same cup for their drinks: after Tsuyoshi drank, Kouichi would take up the cup to drink like it was normal.
#11-16
DK unaired scene: someone mentioned KinKi's 'Jetcoaster Romance' PV, and Kouichi said, "That one is a homo PV."
#11-19
Donnamonya: Fans letter mentioned that on the flight back from F Con at Fukuoka, s/he spotted Tsuyoshi on the same plane. Tsuyoshi was instantly recognizable because he dressed fashionably. S/he saw a plainly dressed person always sticking to Tsuyoshi's back and thought it was Tsuyoshi's personal assistant, then later realized it was Kouichi. After KinKi read this letter, they didn't say anything to deny the story, but instead talked about Kouichi's overly plain image.
#11-20
On radio, a fans mentioned that s/he saw Tsuyoshi and his manager eating at a restaurant. A while later Kouichi arrived. Tsuyoshi promptly handed him the menu and asked what he would like to eat. The fans said Tsuyoshi seemed very gentle and caring towards Kouichi. Again, KinKi didn't say anything to deny this story.
#11-20a
When KinKi went to Hokkaido to guest on a show, Tsuyoshi bought crabs from the Hokkaido market and gave them to the show host. He seemed to regret that he didn't get to eat any crab himself. A few months later, Kouichi went for filming at Hokkaido. He bought some crabs back and invited Tsuyoshi to eat, but Tsuyoshi had to turn it down because he had to go for an early morning show the next day. Later on, Kouichi watched the aforementioned show, and sent Tsuyoshi a message of encouragement.
#11-21
In the past when Kouichi went to various places in Japan for work, he would bring back souvenirs for Tsuyoshi every time. Once he had no money on him, so he borrowed some from his manager first, solely for this purpose. Tsuyoshi mentioned once that Kouichi gave him a door curtain from Izu.
#11-22
Paparazzi vs Jimusho, Round 2: There was a Japanese paparazzi who took 'prohibited photos' of Tsuyoshi and Kouichi together. The content was unknown. The jimusho took the photos into their possession and also gave the journalist a job at their company, supposedly to keep the secret under control.
#11-23
Tsuyoshi's good friend Mori [Kazuya] phoned Tsuyoshi, but it was Kouichi who picked up.
Mori: "This is Tsuyoshi's phone, right?"
Kou: "Right. I'm busy right now, please call again later."
The next day, Mori asked Tsuyoshi about it.
Tsu: "That's because I was being bullied by an ero prince."
#12-24
This was told by Kouichi on Wink Up. When Tsuyoshi was filming Roshinante, Kouichi had more free time, so he drove his Ferrari to Tsuyoshi's shooting location. He didn't tell Tsuyoshi beforehand, thinking that, this way, he could tell the filming staff and Tsuyoshi that he just happened to pass by. In the end, he didn't manage to see Tsuyoshi, and griped about it when they were hosting the radio show together. Tsuyoshi laughed and said Kouichi had bad timing, as they had just moved to another filming location.
#12-25
In the past there was a Japanese late-night show that stalked celebrities. The KinKi Kids edition went like this: Tsuyoshi went to Kouichi's house and stayed in Kouichi's room looking at photo albums, while Kouichi got busy doing various things around the house. After a while, Tsuyoshi lied on the bed and fell asleep. After Kouichi was done, he also went to bed. He lied there watching Tsuyoshi for a while, then drew up the blanket over the both of them and went to sleep.
#12-27
Tsuyoshi had weak physique since he was little, so Kouichi had been taking care of him. Once after a concert (location unsure, maybe Sapporo or Fukuoka) they rushed back to Tokyo for work. A fans managed to get into the same flight as them, and discreetly spied on them every now and then with the pretense of going to the toilet. At that time, Kouichi's was the aisle seat, while Tsuyoshi's was the window seat. At meal time, Kouichi kept fussing over Tsuyoshi and getting him to eat properly. Tsuyoshi shared the delicious food items to Kouichi, too.
#23
The Case of the Cross Necklace: Tsuyoshi was a Buddhist, but had been seen wearing a cross during the last show of F Con and in Thailand. Fans speculated that it was Kouichi (who was a Christian*) who gave it to him. A post in KKK said that Kouichi had once worn the same cross necklace that Tsuyoshi was wearing in Thailand.
* I don't have the impression he was ever one (with the Buddha jacket story and all xD) but maybe someone else have more information?
#24
One of the shows in Tsuyoshi's Rosso e Azzurro concert tours started 15 minutes late. According to Momo's report, Kouichi visited Tsuyoshi at the resting room, and ended up eating beef rice there. Kouichi hadn't finished eating by the opening time, so Tsuyoshi delayed the show opening for 10 minutes.
#41
A Japanese fan, after watching SHOCK, saw Tsuyoshi at the carpark coming to pick Kouichi up.
#48
Another report said Kouichi went to fetch Tsuyoshi after Tsuyoshi's concert.
#49
Kimura [Takuya] said on a radio broadcast that he went drinking with Tsuyoshi, who then got drunk. Kimura offered to send him home, but Tsuyoshi said Kouichi would come to pick him up.
#60
There was a journalist who stalked Kouichi for 1-2 weeks, but Kouichi hardly ever went out. He only went out a few times to eat with others, including Tsuyoshi. In the end, the journalist gave up, since there was nothing to report.
#61
A more common story is that Tsuyoshi went to Kouichi's place more often [than the other way around]. Back when Tsuyoshi was very busy filming dramas, some said Kouichi moved into Tsuyoshi's place. Somone asked Kouichi on the radio about the rumour that Kouichi was helping Tsuyoshi take care of Kenshirou, but Kouichi denied it. (Fans speculated that Kouichi's place was the shared house for both, because Tsuyoshi's family would visit Tsuyoshi's place from time to time.)
#62
Paparazzi from Kansai TV stalked Kouichi with a videocam. It was said that Tsuyoshi was caught inside but they failed to realize it at that time. Some Kansai shows had evidences that Tsuyoshi had been to Kouichi's residence, and that they had gone out to eat together.
#71--#72
In 1999, Kouichi was nervous about his MASK musical. Tsuyoshi couldn't attend the show, so he asked Manager-san to pass a small piece of paper to Kouichi. The content was something like: "Don't be nervous, don't force yourself, just be yourself" along with a cute drawing.
In interviews, Kouichi said of that piece of paper: "I can feel Tsuyoshi's love." He kept the paper inside his wallet as a lucky charm. This piece of paper later appeared in a magazine.
(Kouichi once said the charms people gave him were troublesome as he couldn't decide whether to keep them or throw them away. No wonder, as he already had the most important one.)
#74
MS and Shindoi's producer Hayashi-P's words on a magazine: "The two of KinKi Kids are very close. Kouichi-kun often goes to Tsuyoshi's resting room. They have a good relationship."
#76
Wink Up Taiwan reported that Kouichi went into Tsuyoshi's resting room and talked cheerfully. Tsuyoshi listened to him, nodding along. Kouichi wore Tsuyoshi's hat when he left the room. They said that Tsuyoshi seemed like an elder brother to Kouichi.
#80
Paparazzi vs Jimusho, Round 3: A few years ago Nagase and Ayumi were photographed going to Disneyland together. Allegedly the jimusho gave that photo to the journalist as an exchange for a photo of KinKi kissing in private.
#87
Tsuyoshi's mother once gave Kouichi a pen as a Christmas present. Kouichi used to carry it everywhere when he was a boy. He also enjoyed chatting with Tsuyoshi's father.
* Edit:
Substantiating reference #89
Kouichi kept saying he wanted to go play at Tsuyoshi's house. Tsuyoshi told him not to, but Kouichi kept saying he wanted to. Then Tsuyoshi suddenly pushed Kouichi down. Kouichi was too shocked to react, and he simply froze there. Tsuyoshi said, "You hate this, don't you? If you come to my place, this is what will happen!" Then he released Kouichi.
(It was said that starting from around 1996, their love was so fiery it was blinding.)
#110
Mori Kazuya's words: "If Kouichi doesn't change his habit of not going out much, he will never find a girlfriend. Kouichi only knows to ask a girl out to public parks, how can that be at this time and age? Tsuyoshi is just as bad; he called Kouichi and asked him out to the park, only to request Kouichi to play Fukada Kyouko's character so he could rehearse his script. That much is fine, but if you two are together most of the time, how will you get to know girls?"
#115
Backstage, Kouichi pulled Kenshirou's legs and made the dog do somersaults. When Tsuyoshi heard from the staff, he immediately went to his dog's rescue, and angrily asked Kouichi why he would bully the dog. Kouichi replied, "I'm jealous. You treat Kenshirou better than you treat me." Tsuyoshi couldn't answer.
#116
Wink Up, Donnamonya section. Tsuyoshi had brought a fish magazine along and was spiritedly explaining the cuteness of fish to everyone present. Kouichi, who usually had no interest, made a rare contribution: "They are cute indeed..." Tsuyoshi, holding the magazine on one hand, scribbled on a piece of paper with the other hand. The others thought he was drawing a fish, but then they saw that it was a drawing of a F1 racing car.
#121
On Donnamonya, someone said that s/he saw Tsuyoshi at the front passenger seat of Kouichi's new car, and asked if Kouichi's front passenger seat was reserved for Tsuyoshi. The two denied that Tsuyoshi had rode on Kouichi's new car, but never addressed the issue of the front passenger seat [for the old car].
#122
On radio, a letter mentioned Tsuyoshi was seen buying the same underwear for Kouichi. The two were saying, "Impressive! Impressive!" then fell silent, and changed the topic.
#123
Because of his drama, Tsuyoshi had been absent from Donnamonya recording. After he returned, Kouichi said, "Why are you so cold to me? Recently the work we had together was only one MS performance, and still you ignored me." Tsuyoshi only laughed. Kouichi said, "Your eyes are scary," and commented very quietly that Tsuyoshi was homo*. (This wasn't really audible among the laughing voices of Tsuyoshi and the staff.)
* I don't get the connection, so I'm not sure what the whole thing is about.
#125
Rumours went that during the press conference for Remote, Kouichi asked the journalists if they weren't going to ask him about [the rumours of] KinKi disbanding. He angrily said, "If you want to ask about that, ask me. Don't go and ask Tsuyoshi." The exchanges in press conferences in Japan were usually planned ahead, so the journalists were shocked when he suddenly snapped out at the end of the event.
#132
Japanese fans were very sturdy, with super discerning eyes. At F Con, Tsuyoshi grabbed Kouichi aside and whispered in his ear, then both of them did a cartwheel together. Soon afterwards a fans letter asked: why was it that as soon as Tsuyoshi asked, Kouichi would do the flip? Why was it that Kouichi always gave Tsuyoshi that kind of smiling face? (Haha, no need to ask this question, was there?) Some said that Kouichi hogged Tsuyoshi too much, and so on.
These fans would also ask about the rumour that all Kouichi's clothes were bought by Tsuyoshi, and other such rumours. - -
There was one that pointed out how Kouichi was always watching Tsuyoshi's jokes, always cracking up at them. Good thing these two never changed this point. = =
Most hilarious was the one who asked whether or not Kouichi['s xx size] was [the size of] "a-hundred-yen lighter"...
But no one had asked about the suspected kiss in 2003-2004. Could there be an unspoken agreement? [Because] once asked, we might never see it again. - -
#137
It was once mentioned on radio that Tsuyoshi went to watch SHOCK, then saw two girls carrying Kouichi's uchiwa. When the girls saw him, they excitedly called out, "Tsuyo, Tsuyo," which irked him: "You come to watch Kouichi, right? Shouldn't you focus your attention on him?" Since then, he never told anyone when he went to Kouichi's solo performances. Kouichi did the same. This was the case for Kouichi's 2004 solo con and Tsuyoshi's solo cons. Tsuyoshi was the more stealthy of the two. Kouichi was once found out because his hiding attempts were so innocent: he hid away whenever the lights were on and sat back down once the lights were off again, adorably tossing and turning like this.
#139
During Love Love Aishiteru, the guest at the room beside KinKi's heard strange sounds: "Tsuyoshi... don't lick there! I say don't lick it!" When this side asked that side what they were doing, from the gap under the door, the shell of a shrimp was thrown out...
#144
In AN Con 2005 on Kouichi's birthday, Tsuyoshi said to Kouichi, "Happy 54th birthday." We would think it was just a random saying, but...
In a DK episode in 2003, Kouichi had answered a question saying his mental age was already 52. This would mean it would be 54 in 2005.
Tsuyoshi did well to remember this!
#199
After a show, Kouichi gave MA 3 days off. (A member, probably Akiyama, wrote in his diary.) Soon afterwards a fan saw Kouichi at the airport, departing for Hawaii. At that time Tsuyoshi was in Hawaii to shoot for 'Shoujiki I LOVE YOU' photobook. Fans at the location saw Kouichi entering the hotel Tsuyoshi stayed in.
