Of Taxes and Bunnies...
Yes, I know, a weird combination of things, but relevant nonetheless. There is a point to this, I swear.... heh.
Anywho, got my taxes done, and surprise, surprise... I am getting a refund, and a substantial one at that. Normally, I'd top up my RRSP amout to the limit, but seeing as I didn't have it in the budget this year or the last, what with the house and all the other bills I had, I was quite worried that I had to pay this year. *cringe* Especially when they take so much already!! But it turns out, as my cousin predicted, that I would be getting a refund, even though - a. unfortunately I am in a higher tax bracket (stupid raise >___< but I do like the money...) and b. I have to start paying back all I borrowed from my RRSP's for the house itself... but not till the end of the year - yay!
I have to always laugh when I get to the GST credit page when I do my taxes online (did I mention I love online banking and such?), I laugh, because even though I in no way qualify for the credit, I do remember what it was like to be qualified (read: low income worth, ie. student poor) and actually get money from the government. I miss those days dammit.
Tax season is always so (ugh, pardon the pun, >____<) taxing, but at least it's over with, just have to wait for teh money. Again, yay!
Now, for the Bunny part of the combination. I was searching around ( I really don't know for what though...) and found this site. It was soooooooooo totally cute!!! It's called the blogpet. I totally fell in love with the cousagi... teh bunny! The puppy and panda were cute too, but the bunny... I think I was laughing for like a minute or something. Yes, I know, I'm crazy and weird.... oh well. ^_____^
Anyway, signed up and named her Kiyomi. I do have a blogger acc't (god, haven't updated that in like ages!!!) but unfortunately do not know how to add it to that acc't. Well, at least I can check in on her ( I decided it was a her) at the site itself... Apparently, it can comment on your blogs and search for stuff, and learn stuff too... Kind of like an online tamagotchi, but way cuter! *wink*
Alright, I think that's all I have to say for now... it's more than what I've said with all previous entries without going off on a tirade or complaint. Go me. ^_____^
