Again, again! I love repetition!
I found out last night that Muse is coming back through the Midwest next fall! The news stalked up on me in the form of status updates from the band's official Facebook page - first I saw the Cincinnati gig, then the Minneapolis gig, and then the Milwaukee gig. Milwaukee, barely 2 hours away from here!
It's not til October, but ticket presales start tomorrow. I really would like to go again! Though, if it came down to it, I'm not sure that for this second time around that I'd pay scalper prices for GA. I mean, yes, it was worth it (especially not knowing when I'd get another chance) but if I got a decent seat at half the price that would be cool too. It was just such a great concert.
And this time, when I told Chuck about it, I outright asked if he would like to go with me (just to be polite). His reply: "I'd rather be struck multiple times in the junk by an angry child." Even so, I'm going to buy 2 tickets, because he said he would accompany me if no one else could/would.
UPDATE: Scored 2 GA tickets in the presale for Milwaukee! Somewhat unsurprisingly this venue seems to be getting less slammed than some of the others, like Minneapolis, whose batches seem to sell out pretty quick. 10 minutes into Milwaukee's presale it still showed availability, in GA no less.
