How far must one go to meet expectations?

Marketing's been a collective irritation lately. I wonder why they always seem to being doing things like change meeting times, not tell us, then expect us to have things ready several days early? Or why they don't seem to say thank you even when we pull off stuff that was hard hard work to complete?

It just sort of feels like we've gone out of our collective way to make sure they have what they need SO WELL that they expect extra super special service just about every time, and just sort of take it for granted that we'll bend over backwards to get it done.

I wonder if anyone involved in such business will eventually break under the demands of always having to put in that extra time and effort and just say "no" out of sheer frustration with such expectations.  Probably not...
