Chapter 1.
It’s been three weeks after the fateful clubbing night. Three weeks after Kazuya woke up in bed with Yamapi on top of him. Three weeks after they agreed to see each other but not really officially dating, they just wanna see where it would take them. But in all honesty, they were in love with each other. They were just being cautious since they think they were going to fast.
It’s been exactly one week since Kazuya has been in sick mode. For one week he had been kneeling in front of the porcelain gods, emptying his stomach out. Breakfast he had painstakingly prepared going to waste. He’s been sick early in the morning for one week and he didn’t know why. He was probably thinking that he’s been stressed too much and that must have been the reason why he throws up every morning.
His band mates were getting worried of him. Everyday when Kazuya comes to work, his eyes look tired and he was almost always pale. Tatsuya and Yuichi who were always keeping an eye on him were beginning to get worried. They have noticed that Kazuya is now often sleeping after practice and sometimes even before practice starts. He’d even fall asleep on meetings!
During lunch breaks and dinners together with the other members, Kazuya would either eat a lot or pick at his food. But once thing was always noticeable, Kazuya would eat tomatoes. Nobody dared point it out though after Jin who openly told him and Jin got a bitchy Kazuya retort. It surprised them, but after the incident they didn’t brought it up again.
Since Yuichi and Tatsuya were worried (and overly protective) of Kazuya, they took turns sending or driving the youngest member home. One night, the two had commitments and couldn’t drive Kazuya home. Kazuya who insisted on taking the train home or just hailing a cab wasn’t allowed despite arguing with them that he’s old enough can manage just fine. Tatsuya called Jin to drive the younger man home. Jin obligingly did so after earning death glares from Tat-chan.
Once Kazuya was safely driven home, Jin turned to find a sleeping Kazuya in his passenger seat. He frowned. What could have made Kazuya this tired for almost the whole week? He thought. Jin ended up carrying Kazuya on his back.
After Jin settled the younger man on the bed who continued to sleep peacefully, Jin decided to help himself and feel at home in Kazuya’s loft. Eating and drinking, he settled himself in front of the TV, watching some random program. Jin did not notice he was falling asleep.
It was five in the morning, still early but something was making Jin open his eyes. He was unconsciously feeling the urge to check on the younger male. Swinging his feet down to the carpet, Jin sleepily made his way to check on Kazuya in the master bedroom.
Jin frowned when he realized that Kazuya was not in bed, only the rumpled sheets and blanket were there. Panicking, he swiftly scanned the room or the open balcony for signs of Kazuya. It wasn’t until Jin heard a retching sound that he realized Kazuya was in the bathroom. Kazuya. Bathroom. Retching sound. Ohmygod.
Jin ran to the bathroom banging the door open just in time o see Kazuya straightening up and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. A horrified look was on Jin’s face once he realized Kazuya was vomiting this early in the morning.
“Oh my God, Kazu, are you alright? Are you sick?” Jin asked in a panicked tone.
Kazuya brushed Jin aside and stood up. “I’m fine Jin, don’t worry. This happen everyday.”
“What?!” Jin yelled. “How come you didn’t say anything to us? I’m calling Tat-chan.” Jin immediately left the room to call the said member.
Kazuya washed his face and went to lie down again. He feels tired. Closing his eyes, he could hear Jin in the living room screaming for Tatsuya to get in Kazu’s apartment fast.
It was seven in the morning and all of KAT-TUN’s members are gathered in Kazuya’s apartment. Koki, Jin and Junno were sitting in the living room as Kazuya, Tatsuya and Nakamaru were arguing inside the bedroom.
“I am not visiting the hospital!!!” Kazuya yelled furiously.
“Yes you are!” Tatsuya yelled back.
“No I am not! I am not sick!” Kazuya argued, stomping his feet.
“You are sick! Jin said so; he told me you were puking your guts out early in the morning!!!” Tatsuya shouted.
“Maa, maa, there’s no need to shout you two.” Yuichi said, trying to pacify the leaders.
Kazuya and Tatsuya turned to Yuichi and glared at him. The latter let out a defeated sigh. “Fine, we all go to the hospital for Kazuya’s check-up and the nave breakfast together. That’s final and no more arguments; I don’t want to hear any shouting.”
Kazuya stared at Yuichi as if he’s going to cry, which he did. “B-but…I-I don’t..w-want to…” The youngest member sobbed.
Yuichi looked horrified as he watches Kazuya sob, the other members ran to the bedroom to check on the scene and found a crying Kazuya being comforted by Tatsuya and Yuichi rooted on his spot, mouth gaping open.
“Nakamaru!” Koki and Jin yelled.
“You made Kazu cry…” Junno whined.
“Eh? But I…I only…I…” Yuichi sputtered trying to explain himself.
“Save it Yuichi. Let’s all go to the hospital now.” Tatsuya said.
“Ehh?” Jin, Koki and Junno said, alarmed.
They were all cooped up in Jin’s SUV. Kazuya sitting beside Tatsuya was still crying and sniffling. Yuichi who was sitting in the passenger seat kept shooting worried glances on the rear view mirror.
The drive was quiet save for the Kazuya and the low volume of Yamapi’s Daite Señorita on the radio. When they reached the hospital, they immediately sought Dr. Araki, Tatsuya’s cousin and a general practitioner in the hospital.
“Ahh, Tatsu-kun, what brought you here? It’s good I always come early, ne.” D. Araki said smiling at Tatsuya whose eyebrows shot dangerously high at the Tatsu-kun.
“Hn. I need you to do something for me.”
“What is it?”
“My friend, Kazuya is sick. Jin found him vomiting early this morning. I’m worried. We’re all worried.”
Dr. Araki tapped his chin thoughtfully already thinking about the cause. “Alright then, now where is the patient?”
Jin nudged a still sniffling Kazuya forward to where Tatsuya and Dr. Araki were standing.
“Ahh, Kazuya-kun, you’re sick? And why are you crying? Hmm…Now, why don’t we all go to my office while I do a check up on him?”
KAT-TUN nodded and followed to where Dr. Araki led them.
