Home for Thanksgiving

Nov 28, 2008 17:31

So I'm home. Haven't been here in about 2months, so it feels good. Thanksgiving dinner was yummy and it was good to see my family. Today has been strange because my sleeping schedule is *SO* screwed up. I went to bed around 8 PM last night which is freakin unheard of for me. I never go to bed until at least after 1 am, and lately between 4-9 is the norm, depending on what work schedule I'm on.  I just collapsed into bed because I was so exaughsted from sleeping only 4 hours the night before and plus the 6 or so hour drive. Not to mention just having switched from working nights to working evenings.  I slept until 3 am and then woke up and went online. Then I got the stroke of genius to go to Kohls since it is less than 5 minutes from here and it opened at 4. Plus I saw something I wanted to buy for John in their ad. So I went. There were a lot more people there than I expected there to be, but then again, I've never done the "black friday" thing before. It wasn't too bad though. Stupid me, I didn't grab a cart and therefore had to lug everything around the store, including a King size flannel sheet set (20 dollars! and it has polar bears and penguins on it :P   )  It was so heavy, I couldn't feel my arms afterwards. I got Rosemary's gift pretty much done, it is a hat, scarf and gloves set, which she asked for. Extremely soft :)  I also bought myself an ornament, teal, of course. That's pretty much it. More later, if I feel like it.
