-Haven't updated in a while. Fortunately, I wasn't missed.
-Today was a good day. And I really don't know why. ('Scuse me while I kiss the sky. Etc.) It might be the fact that today is basically the start of a four day weekend. It might be the fact that my little brother is leaving town for the weekend. It might be the fact that I had chinese for lunch. Actually, it's probably the chinese food.
-In addition to being delicious, my shrimp in garlic sauce also helped me cook up another sweet dish- revenge. Right before lunch, Matt Bienvenue kicked my ass. Literally. As in he kicked me in the ass. Anyway, I used my chinese food to avenge my ass by intentionally leaving a sizeable chunk of fried rice in the container (rice which I could have given to Matt) and then throwing away the carton. While this may not seem like a big deal, please keep in mind that Matt is a hungry fat man. Imagine the effect that destroying a Monet has on an art lover, and you'll get an idea of what Matt went through. Anyway, the moral of the story is that it's not wise to kick the hand that feeds you in the ass. Especially if you're a hungry fat man.
-I'm pretty much happy with how the school year is going so far. Calculus BC is most probably my favorite class in my jesuit career. Civics AP is, well, restful. The rest of my classes are enjoyable with one glaring exception. Xtn Lifestyles. My problem with the class, as well as with all the religion classes that I've taken at Jesuit, lies not so much in the subject matter as with the teacher. You see, Mr. Michalik thinks that, because he took a couple of courses in psychology, he is now the world's premiere expert on everything. Especially on stuff he knows nothing about. Ah well. At least I only have this Metcalf-with-attitude for a semester.
