There haven't been any posts on my friends page for a full day now, I need to break the silence somehow, even if it doesn't change my own friends page. You suckers can thank me later.
Not really much to post, really. I worked today, slow as hell. I'm supposed to get coffee (or a non-expresso related beverage) tonight, should be fun.
I've been listening to Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea like nobody's business lately. Very very good album.
So some nice news! I made marching band! You all know that part if you're a devoted Danny-journal reader. You all are, so you all know. Anyway, I saw Mr. McCoy at band camp during the performance a couple days ago and shared the good news with him. He seems excited and all that, it was cool. But the best was when I received a letter in the mail Friday. This was enclosed:
Dan,
I wanted to share with you how proud I was to hear you say that you will be marching with the U of M Marching Band this year! You have accomplished so much since I have known you - and especially in the past few years. Thank you for "making my day" and congratulations on this wonderful achievement.

Talk about making his day, this letter totally made mine. It felt really good to get this letter, nice to know your teachers still think of you years following their teaching.
