Shit I'm on a roll
I should do this more often.
Just wanted to comment on how good my day was, because I noticed something:
This is just about the first year after puberty that I haven't been somewhat miserable on Valentine's Day. In years past, I'd be pretty bummed cos I wasn't with anybody. Yet, this year, I was just fine: I gave gifts of kindness myself, and the two recipients both seemed pretty pleased, given that the responses to both included "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" somewhere in there; as expected on V-Day, there wasn't an overabundance of mushyness, which usually rubs lonliness in; and finally, just in general, the fact of being alone didn't get to me like it usually does on this day. Sure, the thought obviously isn't particularly happy, but it wasn't terrible today. I am happy today :)
Other happy notes:
-Work went well. Spraying uneaten food off plates with a high-powered hose is borderline fun.
-My engn exam was the easiest for me this year.
-I beat that fucking Sky Dragon in Chrono Cross. Hells yeah.
