*GASPS FOR BREATH* @_@
Okay, so, my week so far. @_@
Sunday: meeting and rehearsals for the anime band I'm the president for. Good time. :3 We're doing the orchestral version of Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts this year, and had our first practice for it. Went rather well. o.o The low brass need a little work, and there were some timing issues all around, but it was probably the first time most of everyone even looked at the music. XD After this, I putzed around and didn't do much. Which wasn't good, as you'll see when I get to last night. @_@ (<-- get used to that face. It'll be in here a lot. x3)
Monday: Second interview for sales job, where I was basically informed of the structure of the firm and how everything worked. Seemed pretty cool. This was followed up by a questionnaire, and THEN a third interview where they up and offered me the job. ACCEPTED. I then slept, something I hadn't done much of the night before because I had to get up early for the interview. And THEN, I designed the crap out of the first document I needed to fix up for the other job I'd interviewed for last week. Oh yeah, and then my third shift shipping job. @_@; (<-- SEE! Told you!)
Tuesday: Didn't sleep much as Sabrina got up a little early and we did some stuff together (I.... don't even remember what at this point @_@) and she had to go do a thing and I just stayed up and tinkered around with that other file a bit. Ended up staying up all day editing, napped a little bit after she went home. No visual design work done on the second file, nary an idea conceived for what to do with it. Woke up late, was late to work, worked late, and came back with 5 hours to go and a crap ton of work to do.
The past 5 hours: Split pretty unevenly between doing some visual design stuff (the least of my concerns), formatting text (the middle-of-the-road of my concerns), and trying to teach myself enough Adobe InDesign (which I have NEVER used before in my life, might I add) to put the images and all the text together. WHICH WAS A BLOODY SUCCESS :D I gotta say, I think I've found the most awesome way to link comic pages together when/as I get them done. It'll be pretty awesome. And any brochures I want to work on in the future (and there ARE a couple), I'll know how to get started on them. *_* Oh yeah, and the design on the company's files didn't turn out half bad either. x3
But yeah, wiped out now. Physically, mentally, creatively... Gimme a day to recharge, a day to stuff myself with food, and then I'm good to resume my regularly scheduled programming. @_____@
