Year!
Yes! I did Yoga again! I'm doing really good with staying with it! Probably the trip to beaners beforehand fueled it but we don't really talk about that. And today's Professional Development at work was really meaningful and cool! I was able to talk about varied instruction and had some knowledge on it and was able to offer some suggestions to the other teachers in my building. I was so happy to! Also my ideas were even defended against a criticizer, who happened to be my coordinating teacher, Joe Cleary. But the others came to my defense which was really cool to see.
Also I was able to let the students lead some of the Calendar Math that I usually review and it went off really well. Some of the kids are just naturally good at understanding how to teach! It really is a rewarding experience to see them utilize their skills so early! I'm so happy that I am feeling more teacherish and feeling more comfortable with more responsibility. It truly is a great feeling and I'm happy I'm growing! I also am contacting other teachers I used to have and getting information from then that I can share with the other teachers for their benefit! I feel so useful and I can't wait to do more.
Uh... So Pixeljunk monsters and Pixeljunk Eden are definitely games for PS3 worth having for those of you that have a PS3 and are not currently playing it. PS3 has just totally turned into an Art system as far as I'm concerned and is really utilizing the medium well. Well.. Hopefully onto some light entertainment tonight and possibly some DS game downloading. Catch ya peeps.
P.S. During my meeting with my stupid seminar leader she asked us to create a calendar for her to see when we were teaching and she didn't seem to like when I asked her if we should have it in "e-format" or hard copy. I'm guessing the barely masked smirk wasn't appreciated.
