(no subject)
I really need to stop being lazy and check up on my F-list every so often. Not only that, but I need to learn what's acceptable to post and what isn't....So to those who read my last post before I deleted it, I apologize. I wasn't very sane at the moment, but there's nothing to worry about..I think.
Anyways, I was going to talk about my New Years here, but instead I found an interesting little Meme to help me out:
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Hm..actually, I did a lot of things:
-Went to College.
-Applied for a job and got rejected >_>;;
-Tasted Persimmon and miso soup and fell in love with them
-Went out of state with my school to compete and had a blast at Universal Studios
-Sang actual Karaoke in front of complete strangers who were older than me and probably drunk >.>
- Got lost for 2 hours and unvoluntarily missed school.
...there's probably some more, but I don't remember XD;
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
If I remember correctly, I think it was to lower my coke intake and only drink it once a week....started craving unhealthy sweets and Nope, didn't keep it ^.^;;;
I suppose for this year, I'll try to excercize more and stop Role Playing like I live in Alaska or something. It's like 2 in the morning whenever I reply to comments here.
3. How did you spend New Year's Eve?
I celebrated it over at my dad's house with my siblings, uncle and cousin. We didn't pop any fireworks because the were banned from the city, but we still had a blast. We got those cheezy wanna be fireworks..you know the ones with streamers and the pop rocks that make pop when you throw them at the floor? Yeah, we went outside like idiots and threw them at each other until we ran out. We then went inside and had some of that fake champaign for kids that tastes like apple and I got to try some of the real stuff. No, I didn't not get drunk...to my dismay XD j/k
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no. There were some close calls but not.
5. What countries did you visit?
Mexico, but it doesn't really count when you live only a few hours away. =w=
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A job and more social skills >.>.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm no good at remembering specific dates, but I would say it's a tie between my birthday, going to Universal with my classmates :3
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating from High School and getting A's and one B on my first symester of college.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Being irresponsible at so many things .
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing crazy. Just a high fever during a cold and whatever it was I had all those weeks ago. ._.;
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My laptop? Wait, I didn't pay for that. Um..the PSP?
12. Where did most of your money go?
Online shopping, manga, clothes and food.
13. What song will always remind you of 2008?
Uh...not sure, actually.
14. What do you wish you'd done more of?
There are probably a lot of things, put to some it up...I wished I'd put more effort in the things that I wanted to do.
15. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being on the internet?
16. What was your favorite TV program?
Um..Well, none of my favorite shows are over yet. So I guess it's a three way tie between Bleach, Dancing with the Stars, and Samantha Who?
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah, It takes A LOT for me to hate a person. I could probably count how many people I've hated in my lifetime with one hand.
18. What was the best book you read?
Jeeze, I've read so many that I've forgot which I read in 2008 and which I read the year before that. One that comes to mind, is one I read just recently but couldn't finish. The title of it was "The Last Victim". Gosh, I couldn't put it down the moment I started. It's about this college student's experience while writing letter to serial killers. It's a good read, but also very disturbing D:
19. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Musical? Burimyu? What?
20. What was your favorite film of this year?
Pffft, I don't care what anyone says, Bolt will always be my number one 2008 movie XD
21. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I won't go into detail since I already made a post but. Breakfast at Denny's, A movie and then Dinner at my favorite restaurant. 19 yrs :D
22. What kept you sane?
I really have no idea why I haven't gone insane yet.
23. Who did you miss?
I missed a lot of people after graduation ;_;
24. Who was the best new person you met?
Everyone in real life and online :3 Speaking of which...

25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
Uh..havin your phone around is very important? Wait...techinically I still haven't learned it well enough to actually apply it >.>
Anyways...that's about it...well other than I'm am SO not looking foward to waking up at 6 in the morning to drop off my relatives at the airport . That and driving 4hrs and 30 min back to my mom's and grandma's city and then coming back like two days later. Also, I'm really anxious but excited to try roleplaying as Renji, but the mods are taking too long to respond D:
XD I'm so impatient, even though it's already been a week. Ah well, I understand hehe. In fact, I should stop procrastinating and go reply. >_>
