1) BUSIEST WEEK EVER SOMEONE KILL ME.
2) I'm failing my accounting class, I swear to god I'm not being Hermione Granger Paranoid here, it's really not going well. Tears tears tears. Reeeeally don't want to have to fucking re-take this fucking class.
3) Last night thanks to the internet, I watched Amanda Palmer sing Ampersand live from her living room in a kimono, and afterward she took a phone call from her boyfriend (Neil Gaiman, in case you live under a rock) and it was adorable. And then she was using her webcam as a mirror, not realizing that her UStream feed was still on. [facepalm] Stars: Just Like Us! etc etc.
4) I fly out tomorrow night to Denver for Winchester Convention aka WinCon 4: Endgame. (Highlander fans? Anyone? Bueller?) I feel like though it is ostensibly a con to talk about Supernatural (which is ROCKING MY SOCKS OFF this season), we will end up talking a lot about Star Trek and/or True Blood and/or my rack. I will do my best to twitter drunken photos, etc. BOOZEPOT, COME HERE NEXT TO MY FACE.
5) Um. Hrm. I have been in the habit recently of not mentioning much about my personal (aka love) life here for a variety of reasons, which has been useful because that way when people prove to be disappointing etc, I don't have to ever get into details. Yay, personal narratives! (For example: I totally dated and broke up with not one, but two different people over the summer, and y'all didn't even knooooow. /mysterious) Also, I feel like mentioning things on my weird semi-blog puts an automatic jinx on them, and so maybe it's just best to be vague. So. There's maybe a thing? I'd like to not jinx it. Assuming it's even a thing, which it might not be. [hands] [also, uh, a lot of exclamation points. but, internally.]
6) If you read #3 and were all like, "Omg why on earth was AFP playing music in her kimono and why were you watching?", it was as a thank-you song to Matthew Ebel, who is a local musician who is A) amazing, and who B) does live UStream concerts every Tuesday. Yeah, I know, right? And his music is very good, but I know you guys, so here's a picture of him dressed as Dr. Frankenfurter to convince you to pay attention to him.
