It's still settling in....
I have been accepted into a program through work.
It is a management development training program for Aboriginal public servants. I am one of the 5 that are chosen for all of the country. Thrilled is only part of what I feel. When I applied, I didn't realize how truly amazing this program is. I will be jumping 3 or 4 !!! hierarchical levels by taking 4 years of training.
It's completely shocking!
The first part of the training is french language training... up to two years !!! to get my minimum levels!!! For some reason, the thought of going to school full time AND getting paid my full salary while I do it, just does not compute inside my fat head.
