Notes: Sort of a follow-up/epilogue to On a distant horizon. This was originally a scene I had wanted to include in the story itself, but the way it played out didn't really give me a chance to use it. Still, I liked the scene, especially as a way of putting the two of them back together in the aftermath of their pain, and so I decided to write it as a separate fic.
