2. It was rather backwards, he knew, but as she strode briskly down the aisle in the uniform of the Knight of Six, garnering shocked looks from the assembled courtiers, Suzaku was so proud of her he could burst.
3. "How could I possibly explain to him that his alter ego the hero is in love with a magical girl who's his male childhood friend most of the time?" Lelouch wailed, and Arthur stopped grooming himself long enough to interject, "You could try telling him exactly what you just said."
4. "I'm sorry, Kururugi Suzaku," Watanuki said, tapping the ash from the bowl of his pipe, "but there is no price you could pay that would bring back the dead."
5. She tried to hide it, kissing him aggressively, but the faint trembling of her hands as she began to remove his clothing told Suzaku she wasn’t nearly as confident about taking their relationship further as she pretended to be.
6. This, Suzaku decided, was his favorite way to do homework: curled up on the couch with her, listening to her voice as she helped him with his math and corrected the grammar of his essays.
7. "I-it's not what it looks like!" she squeaked, shifting to better hold the costume up around her breasts as Suzaku continued to struggle with the stuck zipper, but Milly only laughed.
8. Suzaku sobbed so hard it hurt, finally letting out all his guilt and anguish over his father's murder, hating himself and sure she did too… but she held him close, running gentle fingers through his hair, offering quiet reassurances until the last of his tears were finally dried up.
9. She was beautiful -- flushed, hair touseled, pinning Suzaku down to the bed and riding him, her gaze never leaving his -- and nothing compared to knowing he was the only one who'd ever seen her like this.
10. She absently sucked on the end of her pen as she gazed thoughtfully out the window, and Suzaku muffled a sigh as he shifted in his seat and tried to ignore it and pay attention to the test.
