(no subject)
Had a dream last night that the local mall was on my undergrad campus and my D&D group was getting together again with a bunch of people and we were organizing a psionics-based campaign. Will was DMing, and I was freaking out because I had forgotten to make my character (though I think for some reason I had decided to perhaps go for a half-elf pyrokineticist/cryokineticist blend, just for something a bit different) and was running around like a loon trying not to make it obvious that I was making my character in the middle of the game.
My sister was watching a Dane Cook show on Comedy Central the other night, and I thought it seemed vaguely familiar -- turns out it was the one we went to a couple years ago that Matt got the tickets for, haha.
Worked a lot this weekend. Tips were strictly mediocre. Hoping Tuesday'll be better, since it'll only be me and one other person the whole afternoon, and everyone loves Lorena.
Kinda blew up last night, but I was having one of my turns and people snarking at me instead of leaving me alone until I could just cry myself over it didn't help. Apologized to everyone after a while, of course, and I really do feel better this morning. My turns have been getting more and more frequent, though... It's worrisome. (I refuse to see anyone about it, though, because a) I don't trust shrinks and b) I honestly cannot afford that kinda thing right now. Maybe I'll take Mom's advice and start with the St. John's wort -- she says it's helped make her bad times a bit more bearable.)
HOORAY FOR SNOW DAYS! I am going to take this opportunity to get... probably not much done.
...hey, this means I can actually watch House tonight. Huh.
Hmm, let's see... in manga news, Tsubasa is just getting more and more freakin' weird (and very shounen in it's "let's take forever to do this, ohohoho!"), and xxxHolic is REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF. YUUUUUUUKOOOOOOOOOOOO T_T
...I do hate you sometimes, CLAMP. Like an abusive girlfriend, I swear. I'm almost afraid of what you'll do to X if you ever do pick it back up again. (Though for one, I hope your art style will be a bit less noodly and a bit more how it was -- the middle third and getting towards the end of the series, around the CCS era there, is honestly my favorite art from you guys, not much like your early style but still less stylized than your new/current stuff.)
I crave Kamui/Hokuto fic like MAD but of course IT DOESN'T EXIST.
...you know, that's the second fandom we've broken Rule 34 in, bard_linn.
