30 Days of Gaming -- Day 1
Very First Video Game
So I don't know if I'll do all days. After all, I haven't really played too many games and I'm not all that knowledgeable, as much as I do love video games. I just didn't grow up with much access to them :P My parents were cheap and my brother stingy (and he only got an NES and a Genesis, anyway). However, my dad had a 1984 Mac for as long as my memory is good for, and I can remember playing this wonderful classic (well, to me it's classic :P) at least by nursery school-age.
Oh Dark Castle, you were a difficult game for me to beat! In fact, I'm pretty sure I never did actually beat it, but putzing around in the various levels I could get to provided years of amusement (yeah... despite having a Mac early on, we remained very behind the times in my house growing up). This game just never got old. Say it with me now, folks! "Ahhh... ahhh... ahhh... mmm, brrrrr!"
