the end is in sight!

So I graduate college on May 17th. Today the school had their annual Grad Finale where all the things and departments you need to talk to to graduate and whatnot are all in the same place. I got my cap and gown and two tassels (the regular black one and then a maroon and gold one, my school's colors, because I wanted it), and I ordered my class ring. I didn't bother getting a ring for high school, but I will be damned if I leave behind all this hard work without a new accessory to prove it! And plus, it's pretty.

I got word Friday that I got a paid internship for this summer at a zoo in Oregon! I'm so excited! It pays, and I've never been west before. The furthest west I've been is the Black Hills, and I live in MN. YAY!!! So freaking excited! After I interviewed for it, I sat there for two days thinking to myself "I really really REALLY want this internship! I really hope I get it. Oh man, what if I don't, that will suck!" I had already started planning and such. And after I graduate, I'm going to have about a month off before I start my internship, since I have to be home for my baby brother's high school graduation and there is no way I am coming back from Oregon in the middle of the internship!

So, I'm off to do more work on my giant presentation I have on April 8th. Wish me luck, because I need this to graduate!
