My tail kept getting shut in doors. It was so damn long!

But yeah, there's some kinda fancy party for nobles and stuff goin' on. I was invited to be one of the guards.

Yep. I'm gettin' paid and they need our services, so I thought "Why not?".

It's not like I have anythin' better to do.

I guess so. But I can't help but wonder why a fancy party like this needs guards. I don't like not knowing all the important parts...

Well, think about it. A whole buncha nobles and royalty gatherin' around. They're gonna want guards and stuff around to make sure nothin' happens to anyone.

That's pretty much the gist of it. There are some dangerous people on the island, from what I've read in my journals and it would be bad if one of the "important" people got hurt, ya know?

I suppose you're right. "Dangerous people," hm? Hmm... I see why there's a military presence, then.

Are you in the military, too?

Yep.

The military? Hmmm...somethin' like that. We're not really an organization everyone knows about, though. Kinda like an underground military.
