Hmm, while I agree that the kiss looks amazing, I'm not into Mai/Zuko yet because we haven't even seen them interacting (besides that one flashback when they were kids). It's definitely one of the things I'm looking forward to though, because that is a very mutual kiss, and considering Zuko....well, I don't think anyone can deny the pairing being canon now.

I am not entirely sold on Maiko either for the same reason you stated but at very least that kiss scene had a lot of chemistry. With all the Kataang that has been on the show I just can't get into it because the chemistry just seems really lacking. But just that kiss scene with Maiko made me go wow.

I guess I am more excited to see how it turns out. And I do like Mai, despite Zuko. A lot of people think she is boring but I actually think she is really cool character.

Mai is a cool character. It's weird that some people think she's boring, but oh well, everyone has their opinions. I should know since I'm a tophaang fan. :)

I sometimes feel people think this way because Mai is the possible love interest of one of their favorite characters..and she is not Katara.

I think Tophaang would have been cute as well but the writers never seemed to want to go in this direction. Oh well!
