Random Thoughts on Jamie & Doctor's Death
Double posting but I think the type of story I'd like to see where Jamie thinks the Doctor is dead & would be left alone
* Yes I think he'd feel devastated that he couldn't save the Doctor and lost that he is now alone in a different time.
* I could also see him being in denial, perhaps even mentally forgetting anything to do with the Doctor and only remembering being a highlander (at least for a time). That could be interesting to explore how Jamie would adjust in a future world with no memories of the Doctor.
* But I think ultimately even without the Doctor, Jamie's basic goodness would come out. I think instead of being manipulated and turning psychotic, he would help and aid others in despair.
* And then I'd like to think that while Jamie in his own despair is helping others that is when he would be reunited with the Doctor in a most wonderful sappy & loving way.
