A Post About Anime

It's a new anime season and I am actually following new anime. Will I be able to keep up with them all? Well that remains to be seen:

What I've Already Been Watching

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood It's flawed yes but it's still cool to see manga scenes and manga characters animated. I might complain about it from time to time but I definitely will watch it to the end.

Cross Game Still my tried and true love. It's as awesome as ever and although I have my preferences when it comes to ships, in the end I don't think I will be upset if it doesn't turn out the way I hope...that's how much I love all the characters. It's so calm, peaceful, and wonderful. It's a perfect reflection of Slice of Life. But with only 11 episodes left I am a little worried about the ending since I don't think the manga will be done in time. It's still my top rated anime in a long time.

New Anime I am Watching (has the potential to be dropped)

Nodame Cantabile Finale Actually 99.9% I won't drop this because I've already watched the first 2 seasons of Nodame might as well watch the last one. I wasn't entirely pleased with the ending of the manga but I will always love Nodame & Chiaki. Nodame Cantabile might not be my favorite anime but it is the reason I love anime, because no other country would be as awesome to create an animated series about classical music students. And I need to download the Bach Concerto that Chiaki played in the 1st episode.

Durarara!! Well it's from the same author as Baccano which you can tell from the million characters in the OP. And Baccano was awesome! The 1st two episodes were unique & fun. I loved how much Ikebukuro came alive in the 1st episode. It really made me want to go back to Tokyo . Anyways it will have to stay awesome for 24 episodes for me to stick with it till the end but for now I will be watching it.

Anime I am Finally Finishing

Mouryou no Hako I started this in the Fall of 2008 but stopped at episode 6 because it was taking forever to be fansubbed (it's extremely dialog heavy). Now it's finally finished being subbed and I've caught up to 9 episodes out of 13.

Anyways it's a very cool mystery with supernatural undertones (or so it seems) in which girl's limbs are being found around the country side. It sounds gruesome but there is something oddly beautiful & fascinating about the whole thing. It doesn't have the best animation but it makes up for that with awesome art design.

Other then that I recently dropped Kimi no Todoke. Everyone on my FL seems to love it so I guess it's just me but it has a lot of tropes that personally annoy me. I guess I am picky with my shoujo. :)
