Anime DVDs and Goodbye to Natsume for Now

So I realized something about myself I have this awful conflicting guilt complex.

I feel guilty about spending money I should be saving on anime DVDs
But then I also feel guilty about not buying anime DVDs and supporting the industry.

Although my anime collector sense wins out from my practical sense in the Summer/Fall I ended up buying/will buy

One Piece (At least the first 4 DVDs which is the East Blue Saga)
Gurren Lagann (3 sets)
Toward the Terra (3 Sets)
Ouran High School Host Club (2 Sets)
Ghost Hunt (2 Sets)
Story of Saiunkoku (I wanted to only buy the 1st 4 DVDs but then Funi decides to release it in season sets after DVD 3. This does make it more affordable to collect the entire thing)
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Special Edition

Not anime related but I also need to buy the 1st season of the Sarah Jane Adventures. Yes my wallet weeps (although I do still have gift certificates left over from my birthday)

On another note I watched the last episode of Natsume Yuujinchou today. It wasn't my favorite episode but it was still so sweet and left you with that nice peaceful feeling that the series always does. My cat Midnight was actually sleeping on my lap while I watching it which was oddly fitting. And now I call her Nyanko-Sensei. Although that name probably fits my fat cat Sami better. XD

Thank God there will be another season because I was definitely left wanting more. Now I have a reason to look forward to the winter.

Now off to watch the Vice President Debate!
