Code Geass and Lelouch Figure and calendars
You know lately I've been pretty amused at all the backlash that Code Geass R2 is getting. It's not that I think the complaints are completely unfounded the show is a ridiculous soap opera/mind fuck what I find amusing is people think this all started with R2 and the show wasn't always like this. Although personally the train wreck is why I watch the show LOL. It's like what Plot TWEEST will Sunrise come up with next ;).
Although on a more serious note I do think Lelouch is a well written main character separated from all the Lulz. While I wouldn't buy the series (at least not the singles) I did spend money on this Lelouch figure. Not only that I ended up buying it twice because I lost the one I bought at Otakon so I found it Online and purchased it again. Normally I will only buy figures at a convention but I made an exception this time (but because of this purchase I've decided to save money and not go to NYAF this year. I would only be going for the dealer room anyways.)
Anyways here is the figure (he looks so haughty :))
On another note as much as I have loved my Hagaren calendar for the past 4 years I am actually thinking of possibly being different this year and getting the Nodame Cantabile calendar instead. Hagaren is still a much bigger fandom for me then Nodame but this calendar is so pretty. I love the style of the images. I am so conflicted (I could get both but that's more money I should not be spending).
