I want to read this
Okay this is quite a random post
So I've been seeing a lot of crossover Dr. Who/Life on Mars fanfiction. This is understandable because well John Simm is in both.
But what I really think would make a great fanfiction is to have 2006 Sam (not Sam possessed by the Master which is how most fics seem to be) wake up in the tardis with the Doctor instead of 1973 when he gets hit by the car. And then Sam would eventually become the doctor's companion.
Although the Doctor is not exactly Gene Hunt I still think there would be enough conflict in personality to make it interesting. And Sam can still wonder if he is imagining it all and going mad. Because Sam would not be Sam without his "mad scenes". XD
I also think it would work better as a Gen fic (but ha ha what I am kidding myself someone writing a Gen fic with David Tennant and John Simm involved. Does that even exist?) Well to rephrase I think it would work better if romance was not the focus. It also doesn't have to be the 10th Doctor necessarily because the Doctor is the Doctor whenever.
On another note someone uploaded the most awesome Luffy FST here
The song Come Sail Away by Styx is probably the most perfect Luffy song ever. I just imagine the scenes when Luffy is getting each Strawhat to join him when the chours goes "Come Sail Away With Me"
