Some wants fullfulled and then some
Got the boots for my birthday, and bought myself a Kindle Fire. Got it the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
It pretty much hasn't left my hand since. I immediately downloaded The Element of Fire which I haven't been able to find secondhand in five years of looking, and Reliquary which I reread so often it's falling apart. I also bought two collections of scenes from Cullen's POV from the Kate Daniels books by Ilona Andrews, and a short novel by her called Silent Blade. Then when The Cloud Roads was free I downloaded that, even though I own the book (only the second by Martha that I was able to buy new) and will be buying The Serpent Sea in paper form when it comes out.
I have downloaded a little music and made a playlist for when I ride or walk. I have the first episode of The Dresden Files and the first three Sherlocks. Wow. Now I know why so much fic came out on their heels. Now I have to find it, so I can read it on my Fire. I CAN READ FANFIC IN BED! (when I can pirate my neighbor's wifi, that is.
