Another day...
I'm going to hurry with this entry, since the Celestial Temple opens for a few seconds in about ten minutes, and I want to get to the upper pylon to watch it.
The Minister of Culture, Taka Shele came up on a transport for a few hours today. I showed her around the Promenade, and took her around the various empty spaces before having lunch with her at the Celestial Cafe. It turns out that we have a connection--her father was cousin to my art teacher when in the refugee camp.
So she's decided that they'll take Garak's old space, which is in a prime location, across the way a bit from the replomat. They're going to have a gallery show, and she was talking about the potential themes being something about peace. I didn't follow it all, but I'm sure her heart is in the right place.
