Taran'tar has apparently been very upset at the fact that he isn't allowed to train again for another few days. Personally, I think it would be good for him to get out more-- he spends too much time in the holosuite training, and not enough time... socializing, or whatever he 's supposed to do to learn more about people in the Alpha Quadrant, and life in a free society. So I made a deal with him that he could put me through one of his holosuite programs, as I thought it was a pretty good compromise.
Guess how wrong I was? The holosuite was the most dreadful thing I've done in ages. I spent half the time flashing back to the Occupation, and the rest of the time freezing to death. Not to mention that I didn't have a tricorder, and Taran'tar told me nothing about the aliens I was to fight. Turns out they can mimic buildings and then strangle. How fun.
On the other hand, I do think I'm constantly learning a little bit about what it means to be Bajoran by being around him. I'm just not sure he's learning much at all.
Oh, and the Trager is back. Yay, Dukat's creepy look-a-like cousin will be around. How nice.
