I don't *do* charging to the rescue, dear Nerys. I let mortals handle that. Your life would be awfully tedious if it was nothing but getting rescued by godlike entities, and tedium is *my* nemesis.

I did make it pretty blatant that your duplicate was an impostor IF ANYONE HAD BEEN READING, but I suppose they weren't. Either that or they were too interested in sordid sexual activities *you* wouldn't indulge in with them and *she* would to care.

(I think I am deeply offended on amanda_the_q's behalf. ezridax turns down sex with an attractive female omnipotent being, but then sleeps with a totally indiscriminate, not to mention quite evil, and in fact reasonably stupid, duplicate of someone she works with? What, did I miss the memo that Starfleet officers have to turn down any and all Q but are allowed to have sex with skanky hosebeasts from the Mirror Universe?)

And I'd be rather surprised if thesisko even noticed you were gone. One or two days isn't all that noticeable when you're no longer operating in the same timeline and need to make a concentrated effort to check up on the original timeline.

True, about Ben. He's been busy.

Also true about the duplicate me--after I had time to read through her journaling (Prophets, my password was not that easy!) I decided that it was really just Ezri's fault for thinking with her worm before thinking with her head.

And I'm willing to forgive the non-rescue and pretend you have some non-intervention policy (hah!) about this. Although, that's what friends are suppose to do--help people out of tight situations, and then help them hide the bodies.

Oh, well, if the universe was going to explode I'd probably help you. qcontinuum April 17 2003, 09:24:48 UTC
But getting kidnapped by your evil duplicate? Hah. That happens to you people ALL THE TIME. I knew you'd get out of it. (Although I rather hoped you'd get out of it *after* I managed to talk Ms. Skank into trying to seduce Worf, because that would have been *really* funny.)

I actually have interceded (well, for humanity mostly, although you personally got involved one time) three times when a temporal anomaly came up that you *weren't* able to fix. But, of course, you can only remember the ones you fixed yourselves, so I get no credit. :-(

Yes, it does happen with startling frequency. Jadzia always blamed it on the Celestial Temple, but I could never really follow the science behind it too well, so I just nodded in those sort of meetings.

Shame I can't remember it--sounds like, well, an adventure, I suppose.

Have reconsidered the Amanda thing. Am now quite interested.

Any time you and doctorbashir are interested. Just let me know.

(BTW-- I'm willing to do male forms but not existing ones. I will not impersonate smiley_miles or _garak_ for him. Just so he knows.)
