Baby shivered, not that he noticed as he dragged the soapy sponge across her hood. It was hard to think with him draped all over her. He was perfect in her “eyes,” the way he went above and beyond in how he took care of her. Whether it was the occasional high octane treat, or a curt reminder to Sam about slamming her doors, just hearing his voice was enough to make her melt. She could even forgive the greasy food wrappers and pie crumbs that littered her backseat because she was more than a car; she was his Baby.
