(no subject)
I'm enjoying my quiet sunday morning. Lee's at work-he took a part time job stocking shelves at a local grocery store. He used to work there when he was in high school, so he kinda enjoys it. With my hours at work cut there wasn't much extra cash for fun things, like his video games. So now he works 10 hours a week for some extra cash and he can get video games, fun halloween costumes and other things. I on the other hand sold some gold jewelry the other day. Score! I don't wear yellow gold much anymore so sold some items that I didn't care for-a few necklaces and a bracelet. I ended up w/enough for a new ipod nano. I felt kinda guilty buying it, but not really. I've been using a used ipod mini(do you remember those?) for years. This past month the battery started dying--wouldn't hold a charge and it's really bad in the cold, the battery would drain super fast. So I bought myself a purple one. Love it! It has a video camera--so funny. I really don't know when I'll use that. The best thing is that now when I go for walks I won't be walking in silence---which I hate when I'm walking alone. Now I just need to make up some good playlists and get some of my favorite cd's burned onto itunes. I might do that today. But first I'm going to enjoy my second cup of coffee. Yum!
