Q10: One of the most underrated dramas in history.

To be completely honest, I decided to watch it just randomly because I wanted to watch a Takeru Sato romance drama. Since I have never heard anyone around me mentioned it, I did not have high expectations.

I was wrong.

Q10 is unexpectedly powerful drama that makes you ponder on your own life. You wonder about the choices you make, and the chances you encounter. You begin to question yourself, whether you have done something that had, or would impact and change your life forever.

Fukai Heita is a normal 18-year-old high school student who has an incurable heart disease. One fateful day, he came across an unconscious girl in an empty classroom while wandering around his school. Unbeknownst to him, the girl is actually a robot. He accidentally pressed the switch which brought the robot, named Kyuuto, to life.

As you can guess, soon Heita falls for Kyuuto. However, what is beautiful about his love is that in each episode, he ponders about it. He never actually realized when was the first time he felt his heart fluttering when he sees her, and how her presence suddenly became essential to him.

I like how Heita and Kyuuto spend time together talking about random things. Sometimes they don't talk at all. They would just sit there, enjoying each other's company. I think, rather than those kind of dates where you go and do the most extravagant things, this is a much more romantic date.

What makes this drama even more beautiful is that it does not only tells the story between Heita and Kyuuto, but also the others. Like the story of the coincidental encounter between Heita's best friend and his classmate, which later sprouted into love, and the story of his two classmates who find it hard to deal with the feelings toward each other. Each and every scene is pretty in its own way. It is also lovely that in each episode, there would be voiceovers by Heita, speaking about the things that run in his mind, and how he views things in life. The cinematography, on the other hand, is flawless.

I am itching to talk about how awesome the ending is here. As much as I want to spill it, I want you to watch it and be amazed for yourself. I'm telling you, you would never in a hundred years thought it would be that way.

Do you know that empty feeling you get after you are done with a wonderful and breathtaking story? That is what I am feeling right now.

And oh, the ending theme song is amazing too.
