I said, "I'm Kira, and I'm very excited to accept this award on behalf of all the Troades. Troades was both very challenging and very fulfilling, and I know we all loved being a part of it." At that moment, I began to feel as though the other women stood with me, as if I had invoked their presence somehow. I'd planned to say something about how I personally felt honored to work with such amazingly talented women, but the sudden and palpable sensation of feeling the other Troades with me surprised me enough that the words slipped away.
