Marigold ointment does wonders for bruises. I use it frequently, actually, because I'm like a bruise magnet. I have some I don't even know where I got. >_< Anyway it helps them heal faster; I've had this nasty, big and hurtful one on my foot - and it was completely gone in a week or so!

*wonders if you'd be able to put the words 'bai she' on it. in traditional-style chinese (not the simplified version that i learnt--which is waaaaaaaaay easier to write, thank God...)

i've never been to romania before... is it a nice place??

If you give me the words written down as you like in image format, I might manage. Because I don;t know Chinese, after all. >_<

We're still a fairly poor country, but I still think it's a fairly nice place to visit. I know foreigners who said they liked it here.
Plus, I live in a historical town with lots of Medieval houses etc. so that's pretty cool.

ooooooooooooh, i wanna visit.... *wonders how much it'd cost* damn, i REALLY wanna go travel the world!!! *__________*

haha, it turns out that there IS no simplified word for bai she. it has always been the same (either that, or my dictionaries are lousy...). ah well, good for me, then. considering that it DOES mean 'white snake' (at least, that's the guess i'm going by, since there was no intonation...) it think one with a dark background would be so pretty...

Yeah, I want to travel too. But alas, no money... *sigh*

Hmm. Maybe the word appears in the second VF volume, though? I'm sure it should be there somewhere, grr. And then I could track it down online for a "printed" version. Anyway, if I'm successful I'll let you know, eh? And you can tell me exactly what you want your icon like.

... for now I'm stuck doing various versions for differently-coloured backgrounds.

in vol 2? really? i'll go have a look. i'm certain that the only bit of proper chinese (not kanji) that i found in VF was the 'mei ban fa' bit...the whole stolen MO thing...

found it...sorta. haha. 白蛇 will this do??? O.o

*lol* I'll have to enlarge that and see what happens ;)
Anyway... what colour do you want it in? And any other preferences (background colour, border, etc)?

Shall try my best, but I can;t guarantee the results will be pretty. *sigh*

Alternately, I can give you a psd file of the mark and you can play with it any way you like.

ooh, that would be cool too, but i doubt what i come up with will be as nice as what you can make, because i can barely even use photoshop. XDDD!!!

Well, you can try. Because I really feel uninspired tonight. *sigh* And I can always try to make you an icon once my inspiration gets back.
